Vehicle Emissions Laboratory
A primary government emissions testing facility was out of storage space for vehicles undergoing testing. After being “soaked” the vehicles need to be parked for cool down and further measurements. The cars cannot be started, so the lab needed to be able to load and unload cars using RICO brand vehicle “tugs”. The lift system needed to meet rigid safety, environmental, and design criteria.
The solution was a set of custom Harding Autopark Systems Tri-lift units that were specifically designed to allow the RICO brand vehicle movers to roll on and off the vehicle platforms smoothly. The lifts also needed to handle a wide range of vehicles (height and weight) as well as be highly reliable for heavy daily operation.
