The Vin Apartments
The Vin utilizes the Combilift 551 from Wöhr Parksysteme from Germany. Harding Autopark Systems facilitated all of the front end design, coordination, and installation. The system is specific to the project due to site constraints and excavation challenges to get the required parking for the unit count. Part of the garage is conventional parking, the remainder is all semi-automated with the Combilift. The project is comprised of two systems. One system is 10 bays or “grids” wide with 19 cars. The other system is 7 “grids” in width with 13 cars. 32 total cars can be parked in this project. The Combilift is a semi-automated Puzzle Lift system where the users can all park independently. The ground breaking aspect of this are the sleek sliding safety gates and user operations for vehicle parking in and retrieval that are all facilitate through a SmartPhone App. The project was constructed by Alliance Residential Company. The architect was Urbal Architecture.
