Today’s modern retail automotive dealerships are increasingly incorporating dramatic vehicle display towers with elevated mezzanine display levels and second floor show rooms. When Sparc-Plus design studios set about creating Mercedes–Benz McKinney, they needed an all-purpose, multi-car vehicle lift that would perform two critical functions. The first, was to allow the dealership to display up to three cars on elevated platforms within a dramatic glass tower in the prominent front corner of the building. Secondly, the lift had to allow the transport of vehicles from the ground floor to the elevated mezzanine showroom across the entire length of the front of the building. The lift had to be completely integrated into the glass and steel tower while providing a safe operation for dealership personnel.
The solution was a Harding Autopark Systems Custom Display Lift that met these requirement for both display and transport of vehicles. Mercedes-Benz McKinney was the first of three major new dealerships from Sonic Automotive that have incorporated Harding Autopark Systems display lifts.
